Do we get a route map?
You will receive a map with 12 places on Texel. You will not receive a route map, because it is a treasure hunt. So you have to figure out for yourself how to get from place to place. And that is much more fun and creative than an app that tells you how to ride a bike!
Where do I finish?
You can finish at any of the 12 places. In the game we indicate the center of Den Burg or the Ferry as the Finish location.

What do I need for the bicycle treasure hunt through Texel?
One bicycle (or scooter) and one telephone per team. You have to turn on GPS, because GPS guides you over Texel.
Where can I rent a bicycle for the bicycle treasure hunt on Texel?
Bicycles can be rented everywhere on Texel. At the Ferry for example, a bicycle costs only €12 per day. But you can also do the treasure hunt on a scooter of course!
Can I also play with 2 people?
Yes you can, but it is relatively expensive. In that case you can contact us register for a discount code.
Which places do I visit?
We have a map with the places. It is not mandatory to visit them all.
Do we get a route map?

Where can I find the Qula app?
You play the scavenger hunt through our website. This is called a 'Web App'. So there is no app in a store (Google/Apple).
How long does the Trail take?
The route is approximately 33 kilometers. It will take you about 3 hours. Because you have to search a bit and enjoy! During the game you can of course just grab a terrace or take a break. Then the bicycle treasure hunt will take longer. There is no maximum time in which you must complete the assignments.
Do you have to be fit for the bicycle treasure hunt across Texel?
No, not special. You can take as long as you want and you can skip places. If you skip locations, you score fewer points. That is the only consequence.
Who will win the Treasure Hunt?
At the end you get a score. This score will be added to a list of all teams that have previously participated in the bicycle treasure hunt on Texel.
Do I have to make reservations?
No, you can determine the day and time yourself. After you have ordered, you will receive an email with all the details. Then you decide when you are going to do the scavenger hunt. 24/7, so no advance reservation.
When do I open the web app?
When you arrive at the starting address, open the site/app and start the game. You can already open it at home, but not play it yet.
Can I practice earlier?
Yes you can here test and practice the game† There is no DEMObike scavenger hunt game. Choose a City Trail† They technically work the same.
What kind of questions can I expect?
Some questions are search queries on the location and then you can find the answer there. Some questions are more questions about Texel.
Is the scavenger hunt by bike suitable for children?
Yes absolutely. The questions are diverse, as are the facts about Texel. Searching for locations via GPS as well. Kids find the Qula Trails are almost always fun.
Do I need a map of Texel?
No, in the Qula app is sitting a digital map (with GPS tracker) built-in. You can use this interactively.
How do you play the game?
The team (max 6 participants) appoints 1 team leader who reads the game. You use 1 smartphone per team, on which you determine the locations together and solve the questions together. That's what makes it so much fun, it's a team game.
