HOW TO PLAY 'THE HUNT'

HOW DO I INSTALL THE GAME, DO I NEED TO DOWNLOAD AN APP?

No, there is no Qula app in Google Play Store or App Store.

Go to qula.info/dj and the installation starts. A shortcut will be placed on your mobile that takes you to a Game portal. The app for 'de Jacht-app' will not be installed on your phone.

An icon will appear on your phone's screen. This is a shortcut to the Game portal. You can see what this icon looks like in the manual.

IF THE WEATHER IS BAD OR JUST CAN'T, CAN WE PLAY ANOTHER TIME?​

Yes, that's possible. Your login remains valid for 1 year.

HOW DOES IT WORK WITH TEAMS?

You first divide the participants into teams. Per team, 1 player logs in to register a name of the teamaken. He is the team leader.

The other players of his team can watch on the phone of the team leader by scanning a QR code. Together you form a group of criminals or a group of bounty hunters. Halfway through the game, the roles are reversed.

Websites (in this case funcitygames.com) may ask for your location. If you refuse funcitygames.com to determine your location, you will not be able to log in. So you need funcitygames.com do not block (sometimes this happens by accident).

On an Iphone there are 2 levels to turn GPS on/off.

1. At Phone level (see question 7)

2. In Safari (your browser). Here you come through: settings/safari/location. See image, also choose 'Allow' here

HOW MUCH DATA TRAFFIC DOES THE GAME USE?

Very little, between 5 and 10 MB. 

Make sure your phone is fully charged, or bring a power bank.

IS THERE A DEMO GAME OF 'THE HUNT'?

Yes there is one DEMO-game.

This game is not fully functional, but you will see how you start the game, what the game looks like and if your GPS is working. 

FINALLY, TEST THAT YOUR GPS WORKS BEFORE YOU GO!!!

Sometimes teams are at the start and the GPS is not working on their phone. They will then receive a notification from our app:
'GPS is not working correctly. Please close the app and restart it. '

Test this before you go! Is it ultimately not possible to log in as a team leader? Then make another player team leader.
